I have the eye shadow palette Ombres de Chanel Perlée bought in February, and so far only few experiments. At first I was, like many others, skeptical of whether the seemingly strange texture of this eye shadow. powdery Not, not really creamy, pearly, so how now? A normal, fluffy eye shadow brush does the colors on hard, this problem has been reported several times on various blogs, and it happened to me.
BUT ... it would be unfair to condemn the quality of this range because we have to see what we are dealing here actually. with a creamy Powder texture!
Only after I saw how one of my favorite deal Makeup Artists, Lisa Eldridge with this texture, I went to the eye shadow-light!
The new website CHANEL MAKEUP CONFIDENTIAL presented Lisa this range and a related, very nice tutorial. Recommended! It shows various types of contracts, and suddenly everything was so simple. As I said, the texture is powdery-creamy that enclosed applicators are ideally suited for the job , even with the fingertips it works very well. And the colors can be indeed very soft one another, or even blinding solo. This can be done with a conventional screen brush.

Some pictures of my attempts, I am determined to do even more. The eye shadows feel on the skin silky and very easy to keep an eye shadow base with very good, crease I could not tell me. Without Eyeshadow Base but I think it has to easy. Even make-up removal is very simple.

Eyeshadow Base as most of Artdeco , mascara at the first pictures Wonderful Perfect by Clarins in "black" in the last pictures the Sublime de Chanel Mascara in "deep black" that I a small Trial size and got tested on me. Other products were the Fluidline Black Track by MAC , the 24 / 7 liner from Urban Decay in "zero" , and Artdeco Soft Eyeliner in "85-damask violet" . (on the last pictures)
My conclusion:
I would defend that range in concrete terms, not the quality is stupid or bad, on the contrary, it only requires a different way of dealing with a powder eye shadow. I am also wearing cream eye shadows with a fluffy brush not. This texture can the finish appear beautiful, in a special pearl luster, just like the motto of this collection is. Accordingly, we have applied to be a lot of joy. :)

Sources: perfumery, Douglas, Marionnaud in Austria. Some Filliale got only a very small number of the Chanel Spring Collection 2011, some have still stand around a lot. It is quite possible to get hold of now products of this LE. In Marionnaud (Austria) I paid 48 euros for the palette.
